Ductless Mini-Split Systems

Heating and cooling exactly where you need it — no ducts required.

Mini-splits are the most flexible HVAC option available: a compact outdoor unit connects to one or more indoor heads, each controlling its own zone. They heat and cool, they're extremely efficient, and they're ideal for homes without ductwork — or rooms the existing system never reached.

We install all types and configurations: a single head for a garage or ADU, or a multi-zone system that conditions the whole house.

What's included

  • Single-zone systems — one room, addition, garage, shop, or ADU
  • Multi-zone systems — several indoor heads on one outdoor unit
  • Wall-mounted, floor, and ceiling cassette indoor unit styles
  • Whole-home ductless conversions for houses without ducts
  • Line sets, electrical, and condensate routed cleanly and to code
  • All major brands — we'll recommend what fits your space and budget

Common questions

Do mini-splits heat as well as cool?

Yes — modern mini-splits are heat pumps and handle Pacific Northwest winters easily. Many homeowners use them as their primary heat because they're so efficient.

How many zones do I need?

One head per area you want independent control over. An open-plan main floor may need just one; a whole home is usually three to five. We'll lay out options during the estimate.

Are mini-splits expensive to run?

They're typically among the cheapest electric heating and cooling options per delivered degree — far more efficient than baseboards or wall heaters.
